Maybe, but I think it's more the issue of just another mother in world defending her little offspring no matter what sort of allegations are levied at them.
(...yep, 'cause how many times have we heard of some lowlife's mother after her offspring have committed some heinous act say that old refrain of: "But he was always such a nice boy!"???...yep, it happens ALL the time and in ALL the corners of the world!!!)
