The lockdown debate will continue because free people usually operate better as a pack than a herd. But, my guess is that the lockdown was as much to protect the citizens from over worked and stress law enforcement, as seen recently in the California man hunt. We'll have to wait for all the after action reports to be sifted through to know the whole truth.
This has been a Fed investigation from the beginning and unfortunately they play very close to the vest, which is why the media got so many "facts" wrong. The Feds have a problem of not sharing info with local law enforcement, which sometimes make the locals look poorly. In this case the local law enforcement seems to have operated exemplary.
