Hes having trouble shifting, that shouldnt be no matter where the revs are. With the exception of trying to jam it into first at 40mph, neutral can beand a bit tough to find when sitting still. These trannies are generally pretty good, a bit notchy or ratchety how ever ya wanna say it, but usually they do well.
