The above needs to be edited & since too much time has passed I can't edit the message, so the next best thing is to quote & correct it.
Since I have been working with the Ricor front end I have come to realize that the PS 444 rear shocks I am currently running are actually slightly underspung & slightly overdamped. I started with heavy duty PS 444 13" shocks with 120/170 springs for a V-max, & later sent the shocks back to PS for a set of lighter 105/150 springs. If I had it to do over again I would have just gotten the lighter duty shocks to begin with. I will check to see if there is an intermediate spring that might work with those shocks...
