I tried both as well, too much of a good thing, I guess. I read on here that they interfaced better with the stock springs and after replacing the O.E.M.s, I totally agree. BTW, Brent, Ricor will set up your valves to your specs (body weight, riding style, etc.), just for asking, prior to ship.
