This comes from another forum, I think its a great idea, bit of recycling and handy for the workshop. I don't know about you guys but almost every little job I do on the bike be it fitting an extra or repair I almost always use a drop of grease somewhere along the line. So I go to my tin of grease, the one with the dead flies, spiders etc in it. I then go to look for a screwdriver to scoop a bit out, then have to clean it after, well how about this.
get one of these.

Prise the top off by snapping it to one side.

Wash it out with water, poke the top diaphragm and bottom cap down inside.

Then pull the top diaphragm out the top, you can then force the bottom cap out the bottom.

Refit the top diaphragm, it locates on a ridge inside the tube, crap photo I know, I refitted it from the bottom and a little WD40 helps.

Better picture fitted.

Now ready to fill, I used a cartridge for a grease gun to fill it up, but as the top is open you can pack grease in with a scraper.

Refit the top, took two goes to get the spout to locate and it might be easier to fit the top before you fit the bottom cap. But there you go a handy grease dispenser, no more flies, sawdust, water, in your grease, and it don't take up much room on the shelf. Such a good Idea I don't know why they done sell it in these dispensers,
( perhaps I can guess though )

Looks like a great anti-seize dispenser as well.

Once you fill it.....leave it in the bathroom cabinet to see what your wife says once she tries to brush her teeth....

Would love to see someone else try it....

Great idea and think of how white all of our teeth are going to be as we try and use up the toothpaste as fast as possible.

Good one Grzegorz, T Bird connection as well.

I thought the replies would be mostly,

" What sort of grease should I put in ".
