I bought mine in 05. I called every dealer in Tx. Had them fax or e-mail their best offer. Got the lowest guy, then talked with him. He took off dealer + about another 500. I did drive 3.5 hrs to get the bike, but it was worth it. He even gave me dealer price on a few things out of the sales floor (New helmet shirts and stuff). So call around or look on Cycle Trader. You can find pretty clean TBA or TBS that already has some basic mods and bling for around 3 to 5.
