After spending way too much time reading that thread, the OP is not complaining about his landlord's right to construct the building (or obvious lack of permits). Other posters who have suggested reporting him to "the authorities" have been quickly quashed. There's a whole live-and-let-live attitude ~ let's all just watch!
I just hope there'll be a time-lapse of the final moments of the Shed of Doom.
