Yep Carl, that shed the Korean-born gentleman is building using his own "methods" is of course doomed to last just a bit longer than the proverbial "house of cards".

However, and while I probably shouldn't take this conversation in this direction because I know where the following discussion might lead(with a whole lot of "soap box standing"), I found it more than a little ironic that his neighbor who seems so aghast at his neighbor's construction "techniques" and who posted this thing on the internet for all the world to see, also evidently feels the need to use the following permanent tagline in all of his postings at that website:

Quote:

"I dread beyond all else the growth of the petty tyranny of restrictive legislation, the transference of disciplinary authority from the judiciary to the constabulary, the abandonment of every constitutional safeguard of individual liberty."

Ya see, the reason I find this so "ironic" here is of course because his neighbor OBVIOUSLY didn't submit any plans or even attempt to obtain a freakin' BUILDING PERMIT from any local governmental authority in charge of such matters!

(...yep, I found that very "ironic" alright, and EVEN a little funny!)

Yes I agree "D", its a bit of irony that those who wish others not to interfere into their own life, want them to do so when they don't like what someone else is doing.

I find that hypocracy alot here in Texas. None will ever have that problem from me. All I have to say about the shed which shall not stand long and its builder is, "shine on you crazy diamond".
