As for vibration, nothing wrong with that, I remember watching the front wheel bounce on my old Triumphs while sitting at idle. My 64 BMW is smooth as silk at any RPM.




Yes,I agree the chain has that advantage. But the primary reason Triumph uses it on the Bonneville series is it fits the bike's "character"
Same reason it's the only air cooled modern Triumph. I like it.
