A friend of mine has been kidding me about coming back from the Dark Side now that I've bought a Bonneville and am probably going to sell my Sportster.
Sooo....we're at the Triumph dealership and he is checking out a used America and a used Speedmaster since I've been talking up the Triumph Twins. We had been talking about how similar they are to the Sportster spec wise, (20# lighter ~5 more hp the fenders low seat height displacement) and then my buddy starts laughing when the salesmen tells him he can start up the America. What??? I sez.
If your Bonneville and Sportster had a baby this would be it. We laugh.
He starts it up. More laughing, even the salesman.
Sounds more like the Sportster than the Bonneville, I sez.
Maybe you had to be there, but we cracked ourselves up.
