Another AMA member here. Fortunately, I've never needed their service. If you have auto-renew, they'll cover all vehicles including trailers & motor homes. Something I wish I had remembered when I had a tire blowout in SouthCarolina last week.
The wife has carried AAA for years and the nice thing is that they'll work with any vehicle the member is with. She's helped out more than one neighbor by just going over to their house and making the call (dead batteries, flat tires, etc.).
