I joined AMA last year. Partly to support the organization, occasional discounts and for some roadside service options. I have chosen to travel on the motorcycle on the last several trips instead of the car. Have not needed any roadside assistance, yet. Not really sure how good it is.
If you travel in several vehicles AAA my have it's benefits.
