Today i received two emails from Kurt Darden aka dardoonk the original designer of the midsets. He sent me pictures and drawings of the brackets and then he called me on the phone and we talked for 45 minutes. He's given me the ok to use his design and make any modifications that may be needed so people can use their original gearshift and brake assys.
He's had some health issues which he's recovered from and is doing ok now. We are going on vacation soon and will be fairly close to where he lives in North Carolina so i may get to meet him. I've offered him my services as a machinist in return for passing the info. onto me. I told him that "if you can dream it, i can probably make it for you".
Just thought i'd pass the info along for people who know him.
