Yes, they work, only on the speedo end of the cable, I used one on my 05 when I went with a mini mounted on top of my bars. Now my speedo is mounted on the left side of my forks, so I bought a shortened one from Barnett. I had to send them a OEM one and they cut off what I requested, $30+shipping.
