I'm in the modular or flip-up camp. I like the safety of a full face but have a problem getting them on & off. The modular gives close to same safety with the convenience of getting the chin bar out of the way when it's going on & coming off. Less visibility than a half or 3/4 but that's really just minor. I always seem to forget to zip up my jacket before putting the helmet on & have to flip the chin bar back up to get the zipper started
I currently use an HJC IS-MAX with the slide down tinted visor. Not real quiet but much better than the previous AGV. This one has good air flow but I do remove the face shield in the summer, it gets hot here when it's not cold.
