I started riding with a 3/4 helmet with full visor and liked it quite a bit. Then I bought a half helmet ,wore it 3 times and never wore it again [no screen on bike]. The noise was horrible,protection from debris was zero and I think half lids are useless in most wrecks. I got a hjc modular and never looked back. My next lid will either be a Shoei NeoTek modular,lazer pure carbon Monaco modular or the new shoei GT air full face solid. When I see the facial damage that occurs in many wrecks I cant imagine having anything less then a full face helmet.
