Huh. That's weird. I rode my last one clear to Florida and back, and a couple of other states later in the year. I wonder if they carry more than one quality? My first one I ruined with an oil drip from my old Trumpet, which I didn't notice until riding a thousand miles or so. The bottom 10 inches of my pants cuff disintegrated the next day!
