Gotta admit those finned valve covers especially are beautiful, and a nice homage to the Indian flathead side-valve Chiefs and Scouts of old.

In fact, that's what I think is so amazing about this design. I'm sure it's an OHV engine, BUT it's looks like Indian's old side-valvers, and not nearly as tall as their current "Power Plus" and often called "Bottle Cap" engine, which were really just a compromise design based off the older S&S V-Twin engines, and which in turn were based off the H-D EVO design.

And I think another nice thing about this new motor is its balancer design, which should make it run MUCH smoother than any previously made "new" Indian.
