I know I used to run out of steam when running the 18t front sprocket. After going through the 18t, and a 17t front after that, I put my stock 16t back on and I'm sticking with it.

It's just so much more fun, anywhere in the range, any speed. So it revs over 5K a lot on the highway. Get used to it! The rev limiter doesn't kick in until 7800!
