Well the decorative British flag bolts I used to block off the O2 bungs were a bad idea. The header wrap was beginning to tear at the tall bolt heads. After getting home from the AMA Superbike races at Barber last week I unwrapped the pipes. *Got to take a couple of laps around the track, had a BLAST!!! Wasn't sure if I was just going to re-wrap or paint the header pipes. Found that the bolts were no longer tight. Couldn't get them out intact. Took the headers off. After a bit of work I was able to get old parts out & good low profile & short bolts in place. Decided to paint the headers. Wire wheel on the drill, sand paper, scotch brite pad and some VHT / ceramic silicate(?) type paint and I had black header pipes.

Had fallen victim to the Rinehart mufflers threads. Fabbed up some brackets.

Got it all together yesterday and had a good shake down ride today.
Here is a chezzy sound clip.

OK, know to leave things alone for a while.
Then on to suspension
