Wrap has been here for a couple of days & the mufflers just showed up. Went from rainy to a bit brisk, mid 30's here this morning. May be a couple more days before this project gets started. Also need to fab up some type of muffler hangers.
Plan to wrap the headers from the bottom up. Looking at things now I see I will be covering up the weep holes on the bottom of the header pipes just ahead of the muffler joint. Guess it won't really matter if I cover the outer wall gaps around the crossover pipe & O2 bungs. Don't want to cut the outer wall off. Really shouldn't get water between the header walls I hope if wrapped well.
