You'll see that a lot on old Norton and especially custom built old "Triton" Cafe Racers, Dave...like this one...

And so I think that's the look the builder was goin' for here.
And re this T-Bird Cafe Racer...yeah, I think it's kinda cool lookin'...but BOY, can you imagine tryin' to throw all that WEIGHT of a T-Bird "Cafe Racer" around in the twisties?
I mean, a stock T-Bird weighs about 200 MORE pounds than our bikes do, and I just can't imagine the builder was a able to pare down all that much weight with this bike.
