A close relative of mine has a wife who is a pain in the neck. One of her weird habits has to do with "new" car purchases. Anybody who gets a new car in her family (husband, daughter, son) has to first let her drive the first few thousand miles or so, or she throws a fit...

Sounds Appalachian to me. Break her of it by purchasing a new car for HER and then not letting HER drive it for the first few thousand miles or so.

Keeps getting pregnant? Norplant implants. And being as the husband is usually one half of the equation, and assuming he is of average intelligence, a paternity test might be in order too. Really, where does she go on her new car joy rides? Do these rug rats appear nine months or so after someone get's a new cage?
