Well, last night the missus and I went to The One Motorcycle Show here in Portland. I went a couple of years ago, and it has really "cleaned up" (There were not piles of Pabst cans between the bikes.) I was there kind of early though. This is their 4th year, and they had pizza and a coffee cart, and of course loads and loads of beer. I was surprised at the amount of sponsorships they have now. One of the organizers being our own great newish coffee shop See See Motor Coffee Co.
Lots of great bikes, and my wife said lots of facial hair.
Our own Member here, Larry(Woody05) bike was super shiny and among the bikes on display. It was nice to see one of us represented. His story on how he was asked was pretty good too, but I'll leave that for him to chime in on hopefully.
I'm sorry, I didn't get any pics, my phone died when I got there. Oh well. Hopefully, someone else will post some.

VERY cool show. I think my "Woody" was the newest bike there by about 10-20 years. The final count was 130 bikes from all styles and ages. 1927 Indian, Cafe' Racers galore, old school choppers, 500 HP Dragster, and a bike with a side-winder small block Chevy.
Why me? I was riding to a Dual-Sport Event my Dirt-Bike Club put on last June in Central Oregon (Fort Rock) and at a gas stop a young lady starts talking to me about my bike. She goes on to say that her boy friend puts on a Motorcycle Show and was sure he'd want to see mine. Gave her my card and didn't hear anything until mid-January. Ya, he wanted me there so....
At the end of the day, it was all fun, some really interesting bikes, free admission and $1 BEER. Don't see a down-side there!

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.
