I know this wheel is a direct fit and all that. Does anyone have a picture of it on a speedy or america with the stock 17" rim? Thanks guys, I couldn't find one.

Lovely. How do you like it? And what are you running for rim size in back? Thanks.

Handles great, I have 200/60-16 Cobra mounted on the back, with 12" shocks and the front lowered about 3/4". After I spent so much on the rear tire, I was leery to spend big money on the front as I had no idea how a fat tire out front would perform, so I purchased an el-cheapo, Duro brand tire and I have absolutely no qualms now, so far it has been just fine. I'll put an Avon on the front when it wears out. A 130/90-17 has about 3/8ths of an inch greater circumference than our stock tires have, so the speedo is close enough. In case your wondering, you might get a 140 tire on that rim, but you won't have any clearance left for a fender bracket.

I'm jealous, you sprung for that cool finned timing cover, did you get a primary too? I love that look but can't justify that much for the cover.

Ian, I don't think a finned primary cover is available, but if there was one, I'd have bought it, just to complete the look. Obsessive/compulsive chap that I am.

Where did you get that cover!!! Nice to know a 600 rear will fit on a 16" rim.

Also, to the OP, I have a Thunderbird front wheel on mine too. My old one was dented...

I bought the unfinished set (cheaper) 2 coats of quality semi gloss black, used an arkansas stone to get a sharp definitive fin tip cut and consequently uniformed the fins nicely at the same time. Finished with semi gloss clear so the now naked aluminum wouldn't get all funky. Their QC as to the machining was perfect on the set I got. I wish they would make a primary cover as well, I would buy one in a heartbeat.

Sweet. I bought a 17 inch rear from a TBS to match the front. Been wondering how thats gonna work out. I have 10.5 inch shocks so should be interesting.

I love those covers, they made a set for the old twins, primary and timing covers then you got a cool Webco finned oil cooler that connected to the rocker boxes.

I've got a tbs 17" wheel on the back of my bike- running a 150 anakee tire on it- my shocks are a bit shorter than yours but i can measure the ground clearance if you'd like-

Oh man if they made covers for both sides... So tasty. My clutch-side cover (primary?) is not in the best shape.

What is a fair asking price for a TBS front rim? I may know where one of those unicorns are hiding.
