Just to cap things off my mates told the run organisers and before the trophies were presented I got a special mention and had 1500 bikers (many of them ardent turtle lovers I suspect) staring at me as my riding mates were only to keen to step back and point me out. Had to live with the title "turtle killer"for the rest of the trip!!!!!
