Never been flashed so far with mine on low beam but I know what you mean. It is very hard to adjust to the correct height. The bike shop I go to will fail you if not adjusted correctly. My bike passed but when he put the high beam on he said holly ******. I like the high beam on the back streets and so do the people I ride with. They say it looks like daytime with my high beam on. If you would like to see it in the spring let me know. We can meet up. This winter sucks for riding but I did get out yesterday for an hour. Lot of sand on the roads this year.
