Sports radio here in Atlanta quoted as saying "if the Falcons can get by the Seahawks, they WILL go to the Superbowl".....Well, as a life long fanatic of the Falcons, I have seen what they can do....In 1998, the Atlanta Journal Constitution used the largest print in history to write across the headlines "YIKES, IT'S THE VIKES!!" as we traveled to Minneapolis for the NFC Championship game against the Vikings....We were fierce underdogs, but simply wanted it more, and won the game by a Morton Anderson Field goal, sending us to the Superbowl against Denver....I can easily see the same, if not better, happening Sunday against San Francisco. The bottom line, is, when we desperately need to get yardage, we always do, so Im hoping again for the Falcons to have a FAST start, get as many points as possible agains the 49ers, and hope our defense can contain Colin Kapernick in at least one of his many capacities.....He is gonna be HARD to stop!
