Up here in upstate NY we hit a high close to 60 today. I thought this would be an opportunity to get in a rare January ride. The conditions were not optimal however. The bike was not really ready to ride and not in the most accessible part of the garage. I hooked up the battery yesterday, put the charger on and hoped that I would get a chance to ride. The riding window was small, because we were having my son’s 13th birthday party today. But I thought I might get out for about an hour.
So yesterday the bike was sitting in the garage charging. I live in the boonies, and at some point during the evening, one of the feral cats in the area popped into the garage and sprayed the back of my bike. Rear tire, Fender, back of one saddlebag and the Corbin seat that was setting on the ground next to the tire. All splattered with that foul smelling *****. Instead of a nice ride this afternoon, I was worked on cleansing that stench. That cat has hit my truck a couple of times. A trip through the car wash will deal with it, and that is what I have done in the past, but this is too much.
One of my presents to my son was an Airsoft gun. Did some research on the web and all an Airsoft gun will do at @ 20 feet is sting you. Tunafish is cheap. A can of that should be good bait and I will be waiting for that !&%@($% tomcat. Hopefully one good scare is all it takes. Wish me luck, and for those of you who do not approve of this, feel free to come up to my house and humanely capture that sob.
