i think I will go with the 3-in-1 razor eyes as they eliminate the need for a brake light.

I have a nice chunk of AL that I can mill in to a braket to hold the Z-plate and lighted frame along with the Razor Eyes.
I can mount the bracket directly to the fender by drilling one hole, or I can make it attach to the screw for the luggage rack/pillon, it's just be a little long but not very visible.
