IF Buff "improved" his story with a falsehood or two, I think Clide should be excused for displaying some anger and verbosity. After all, it is the man's business and livelihood at stake. We should all be careful and circumspect.
OTOH, Clide should be proactive and immediately post on his website any unscheduled closing of the business or delays and the reason why. It is the customer's time and money at stake, also. Raising expectations and then not meeting them stresses people out and will elicit some serious, even unreasonable, blowback.
