I appreciate the feedback. But no insult intended towards your friend, I've found that most antique style bikes need a lot of care. One can also get a lemon in any bike. (There have been a few BA's talked about on here) Also, I'm hearing from sites that deal with RE that the newer generation is way better than the older models. I think that with proper maintenence and a mild riding style, a RE would be ok. Oh, and keep those donations pouring in!
