My neighbor has had a RE Bullet (mostly parked) in his garage since 2004. His buddies (including me) refer to it as the "Royal Spendfield" among other things, as it breaks more often than it starts, and almost requires a chase vehicle when it does run, to pick up the bits and pieces which fall off when as it rolls along. I have occasionally suggested only half jokingly that he cut it in half front to back and mount it on the wall. I rode it one time on his dare, and it scared the living crap out of me when it took 3X the distance any other bike would take to stop.
I understand RE has "modernized" the bike, but it still remains a bike designed in the 50's, by English engineers, and is built by Indians. If I were going to buy a modern retro bike, I think my choice would be a Ural over an Enfield.
Good luck!
