A short while back I posted my love for the new RE, and we had a lot of spirited discussion about their worth. I noted that Baxter Cycle had discontinued their dealership of them, cause that is what the salesman told me on the phone at that time, six months ago. However, I just talked to a different saleslady from Baxter's, and they ARE CONTINUEING their dealer ship status. They have moved the line to their back (Triumph obviously bullied them into that), and continue to sell and service the RE line. The saleslady said that they have had no mechanical problems with the RE line, and continue to sell a few. Just wanted to change/clarify my previous statement as to RE. Finally, if anybody here wants to donate to the "HELP RICHARD BUY A ROYAL ENFIELD CHARITY ORGANIZATION", all donations would be appreciated, as I am far to broke to buy one on my own!
