Just got ambushed by a bunch of seven year olds. They rescheduled their make up games and for home plate umpire it's me or no game. Oh well, I got 100 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway before they rained on my parade.
Have fun. I know it will be tough without me.

Just put her in the garage, back safe and sound. Sorry I cut out without saying goodbye to everyone, but I couldn't youse guys. ran by the campground and gather up my stuff. Got to see Paul's family, the misses and the two boys, man they are getting big. Thanks again Paul for the camping goodies. I left the boss lady  some money. Let me know if I owe you anything else. Stopped by the pole barn on the way, nary a soul to be found, not even GRR. Thanks Chy for putting this together and for putting up with us. Had a blast as always, you guys have fun tomorrow and tell the "surprise" guest I said to be sure and buy a Dragon sticker at Deals Gap, that will make it official

Got back around 2:30 Tulsa time, with $1.50 cash in my pocket and a new rear tire. Life is good.  ps: Thanks Di and Chy. It was good to see old friends and meet some new ones. That sure is a handsome grandson you have. Not a peep out of him at the Mexican place. Definitely a future rally attendee.

Kickstand up at 4:40 AM and kickstand down at 2:15pm. Rode about 150 miles with a Concours that I met in downtown Atlanta. Thirty miles into Florida I met lovebug season. Yuck. As always, it was fantastic to be in the Georgia mountains with friends. I cannot wait for next year, and hopefully, there will not be a personal tech day on Saturday. Ride safely everyone.

I made it back home this afternoon. It was good to see everyone, and had a great time this weekend. Chy, thank you for putting the Rally together again and for leading the rides. Saturday in particular was great even with rain gear. I hope to be back again next year!

It was great to see everyone again.. I had a lot of fun and there was some nice riding involved for sure. I thank all of you attendees for taking time out of your busy lives to join us for a few days in the mountains.
The day everyone leaves is always a little sad and quiet but now I'm already looking forward to next year.
I'll be posting a few pics myself thanks to Di (the photographer in the family) so I'll try to get those up soon.
Good riding, good friends... good fun.

All the PHX-ATL flights we're so packed(due to all the people traveling to graduation ceremonies, I would come to find out) that there was no way I would get on any of 'em traveling on standby status, and even after sleeping overnight on the floor at the PHX airport in failed hopes of maybe getting on one of the next day's flights. I can't begin to express how bummed out I was to have missed Chy's rally and having the opportunity to meet in person all the great folks I've come to know over this website all these years, to say nothing of again seein' some familiar faces. However, I'm glad to see this year's GA rally appeared to be yet another tremendous success for all who made it there.
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

That's odd. After picking 5/11 I used the slider up top to change the start time to 12:00PM. Then toward the bottom of the second page. Look for the blue Toyota SUV going the other way, then Chy is after them.

Exactly what I was thinkin' too, Mike. I mean, I can't imagine MY failure to show up ANYWHERE as causin' ANYBODY enough distress to be THAT upset!

Thanks for finding all the photo links, Jake. But after looking at them, I've come to the conclusion that I'm too tall for the Speedmaster. It looks like I stole some kid's bike in those photos.
Also, I've got some pics (mostly from Friday but a few Saturday also) that I'll post here when I can. I always wish I'd taken more photos after a rally, and this year's no different.
