I think they should all be replaced and no one making more than $200,000 a year should be able to run. No personal or donated money should be use to run but a certain amount of air time on radio and TV and a certain amount of other advertising should be made available to be distributed evenly among the people running. That way anyone could run, not just the very rich.

I don't think taking away the right to run for office just because they are rich is realistic. However, taking out the money factor and the onslaught of advertising it generates is a fantastic idea. Take away the corporate impact, strip things down to the basics and level the playing field. Debate the ideas and let the people decide. Let an election be about the personal vision of the candidates rather than our current model that has devolved into a system that lets the advertising dollars controlled by corporate PACs and national party sponsorship determine the majority of races.

But getting back to the original point, all current incumbents should be voted out. They have proven themselves incompetent by not being able to deal with the most important issues facing our country. They are incapable of being true leaders and all they can be is politicians. Regardless of party affiliation, I will not vote for any current incumbent in the next election(s). One of the greatest things about this country is that we CAN vote them all out!
