Dwight, I ran the news past my Boss & he seemed okay with me taking a couple of extra days with the stipulation that our End of Quarter Cycle count & receiving were completed & reconciled on time at the end of June (really this is a non-issue as I already have an extra 2 day factored into the schedule)
So, it looks like I'm good to go from 5/18 through 6/4 & will be able to roll into Sedona on the 30th or 31st to meet you all & ride to the Grand Canyon with ya too!
Logistically, I figger I'll roll outta San Simeon, Ca on the 28th to Needles, CA & overnight.
Then from Needles,CA on the 29th, I have the option of hanging there for an extra night or motoring toward Sedona, AZ.
OR....If I can locate a primitive campsight near Sedona that has potable H2O I'll camp for the night of the 29th/30th and check out the local sights (? any recommendations)
OR.... on the 29th/30th roll into Sedona,AZ get a motel (any bed buggers there?
), and meet up with you all on the 31st at your location for the SW rally.
If I can overnight with ya'll @ low $$$ on the 31st, I'll be riding with you to the Grand Canyon & will overnight camp there & continue my ride East the morning of the 6/1.
Any suggested spots I should visit / camp at on my route to Sedona????
