http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-...000-cruise.htmlLooks like most people enjoyed themselves (I don't believe the bit about rampart sex all over the place), but as for the family, stuck up skinflints as far as I'm concerned

Yeah, I guess the folks with the little kids didn't have a right to swim in the pool safely. The belly flop contest preempted their right to swim.

The Englishwoman should write a screen play and shop it in Hollywood. I see comedy gold, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Hog wild".

The sex isn't out of the question. Many public biker events I have been to we had sex right out in the open at the camp grounds and hotels. Didn't matter who was around. I don't see a cruise ship as much different than those places.
I think the family should probably be compensated.

Looks like Paul Sr. sitting on the edge of the pool in the second pic.
Just an old Hippie and I don"t know what to do.

I'd have been pissed too - but not traumatized. Anytime a single group of 2500+ has been booked, other passengers should be advised. I doubt very seriously that the bikers just showed up at the ticket office. I'll bet the cruise line worked hard to put that trip together. I'd have the same opinion even if they were Gold Wing riders. All that matching plaid might cause irrepairable pyschological damage. Now, lets have the Daily Mail check up on Holly & Austin in a few years and see if they learned anything about the world.

I'll have to ask one of the Customs officers (neighbor) about that cruise to see if he heard of any shenanigans. Heck, he would have told me already. That lady is sore because there won't be a 2012 version of The Spy er, Bikers who shagged her? Austin Powers indeed!
btw from the read, it sounds like that was GREAT cruise!

I bet the morning exercise class was also a big hit with this group. Wait, belly flops, no maybe not. At least educational for the kids.

I see it quite differently. I bet next year there will be warnings sent out to all other passengers.
You should not have to explain to your children they can't swim because the drunk skanks are watching the drunk fatboys do belly flops in the pool where running and diving are normally strictly prohibited. On a cruise ship you can't escape them and you can't enforce rules with a group that large. It can be pretty scary for some. Ugly drunks acting like themselves is just ugly.
Had they taken a SUV ride to the black hills and Sturgis during bike week I would have a different outlook on it.

I hear you about cruises which aren't for me. Talk about a company store and about not being free to go where you want (like to the local ABC to purchase booze). Were I obese and lazy a cruise would be the perfect venue to attain a state of Fat man in the Bathtub. however being a bit on the skinny side, that would be a lot more than a little feat.

I don't see anything wrong with what the bikers did, they were there to have fun and that is what they did. Now I do agree other passengers should have been advised and offered a chance to change ships well in advance.

Just two comments to make about this whole thing. First. After viewing the shocked expression upon Mom's face here... ...you can darn well bet that IF little Johnny there on the right ever wants to get a motorcycle, it's NOW gonna be AFTER he's moved out of the house! And SECONDLY(and though I doubt my next comment is gonna be met with universal approval here), after looking at THIS picture from the link... ...I gotta say AT LEAST these people have FINALLY appeared to have found a little more appropriate location to don their little pirate outfits! And THAT would be out there on the High Seas, and NOT out there on the freakin' highway!!! (...oh, sorry...I DO have one more comment to make here, and THAT would be that I agree with what Ron said earlier!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Yup, educational for the kids, how anarchy works. Financial, how greed can trump fair play and a good behaviour lesson. They should not have been on that boat but as the clock can't be turned back hopefully they did not come away too scarred. If this was reality TV they would go and visit in 5 years.

I could never imagine confining myself to a cruise ship to begin with. I get that they feed you well but there's only so much deck space for 4000-5000 people to see the sun. Gives me the creeps.
The only cruise ships I've ever been on were courtesy of The Haze Gray and Underway Cruise Line and, frankly, both the food and the destinations sucked.

Actually not so bad depending on the layout of the ship. If you don't have a balcony cabin, you can almost always find a hidden spot (I don't mind getting my own drinks). For some odd reason, most passengers tend to huddle together. We just stay on the boat insted of getting off at the destinations (tourist traps).

Agreed. Yikes!
