For reference when I installed the FCRs I had to adjust the throttle cables further down into the cable holder thingy. No big deal really. I guess I forgot to tell you that before as I just remembered.
RE: tightening down
I went down to look and remember doing one of two things...
1 - using a 1/4" drive bit and small 1/4" box end wrench
or
2 - using a long ball head hex driver
Actually they sit in there pretty much at the same level, slightly forward though becasue the oem manifolds are a bit deeper to the rear of the bike, i think thats the biggest issue with not being able to push them all the way in before it starts to play with cables and such, i am less concerned with that then the torque on the part that in on the cylinder. I think part of the issue was that i put both pieces together first and then onto the bike, instead of putting the hard billet portion on first and then the rubber portion. thats the only thing i can think of, come to think of it that might be the trick, i will have to go look LOL
