EDIT: I looked it up and turns out it is an urban myth. There are some valuable 1943 pennies but no where near that.



Well Ian, maybe you've just given me a Wintertime hobby. I've been collecting wheat pennies since 1971 (when I won one in a penny-ante poker game). I've got two 5 gallon buckets of them in the garage and about half of a 2 gallon Black Label beer bottle full.

This is Florida though, so it's a short Winter.
