I am gong to remove my ARK, and modify it to hold battery or buy one already made. I will then install the K&N filters for the carbs.

I will also remove the Air Intake.

Starting my parts list, but I have a few questions first:

1) If I completely remove the AI, will I need that little K&N air filter or will the AI kit be enough?

2) I recently put on some Emgo 19" turn-outs, so utilizing Dinqua's jetting calculator I'm wondering what I should use for the Pipes? Misc open?

3) if everything in my carbs is stock, and the calculator says I ned a 154.5 main,what else will Ineed for jets, shims, etc?

3) Is it worth piecing this job out like this, or should I buy the Newbonneville or BC freak kit? Maybe BrokenFixeds solution.
