I tried to retire a couple years ago. Unfortunately, I have a unique skill set that is very beneficial for helping hearing impaired children acquire hearing and language abilities. It's very difficult to say 'no' when I am approached by their parents.
Don't get me wrong, as curses go it's a really good one to have. But it makes going off in other directions, which I have with the two companies I have incorporated in the past three years, very difficult.
So, my retirement consists of trying to cut my hours back. At least the money is good.
