Also, it was a kid, not some 30, 40, 50 year old a$$hole you know from work. Kids don't know for $hit. If you remember being different, I'm betting you are mistaken.

I'm guilty of reacting the same way but I try not to pretend that a 16 year old should have the same judgement as a 30 year old.

Plus, when in doubt, your wife is probably right. If nothing else, that's usually a safe bet on these kind of things.
