Your feelings toward the kid are mine also. But, If i can share just a bit of advice which you can heed or ignore, I think where you probably should be directing your feelings is toward your wife. Ya see, no matter how much apathy you hold for a kid you probably didn't really know, your better half actually had a personal connection and is now feeling many emotions that accompany tragic loss. Be kind, be thoughtful, and by all means don't share your judgement - and if you have - appologize, and mean it.
