So my wife teaches high school, and she just called me and said that a student of hers died... Because the girl was driving drunk and going the wrong way on the interstate (I-70) and hit another car, whose driver is in critical condition, and I was pretty indifferent about it except my wife could tell I think the kid is a piece of crap, albeit a dead piece... She is sad and I have no words of comfort because anything I say would be a lie... Anyway, I think she might be upset with me now but WTF! Stupid ass high school kids that I don't know doing stupid ass things and I'm supposed to be all like I'm sorry they died?
I did say I hope the other driver ends up okay...
So, how could I better handle this situation in the future?
