I live in Kansas City, we have always called those mufflers "cocktail shakers". I ran them on one of my Bonnies in the 1960s and still run them on my 76 Bonnie. Here we call "drag stacks" or "drag pipes" basically just running headers or TT pipes, no muffler. Truth is that prior to the web most of this nomenclature was parochial.
