I remember you posting about it a few years ago. A faded burgundy color if memory serves. I'm patient, I'll wait for you to get around to treating it better. There's a guy on another forum who turned his CX into a dirt/adventure bike that really looks like fun. Unfortunately, I don't have those fabrication skills.

Mine took me to the Florida Keys and the Carolina mountains on many occasions. It was a great bike solo - then I got married and just HAD to have a Gold Wing. Big mistake.

I've always been tempted to pick up a Guzzi or an old airhead BMW (yeah, I know you've got at least one of them tucked away too - you SOB ) , but there's no decent dealer nearby. Dealer issues have kept me from trying some really good bikes. I guess if I had more confidence in my mechanical skills.....
