well if i don't have to lossen the bottom clams the forks should stay pretty much where they are. How would you re-align them if required? if the axle stays on etc should they not stay pretty straight?

Now that i think about it, i lowered my front forks a bit and at that time i did nothing special other then tighten them up afterwards, so if they are not straight how would i know?
