Get a wire gauge, with the adjusting tool made for spark plugs. The round ones can put pressure on that small center electrode and damage it. It can be too easy to try to fudge it just a bit using the measuring part to adjust. No real harm (usually) on standard plugs, but can damage iridiums quite easily. Always adjust by bending the side electrode.
